Hunting Ground Farm is a 68-acre family-run horse farm located in the rolling hills of Harford County, MD. Our picturesque pastures and grazing horses lead to a lasting impression that can only be found here in the heart of horse country. Now entering our 27th year, our focus is on training and showing hunters.
We are proud to host and attend horse shows year round. Our lesson students, boarders, and leasors all enjoy considerable sucesses on our local and rated show circuits.
Here at HGF, we stress solid basics on riders and good horse skills on the ground. Riding is meant to be enjoyable, and that is a goal we strive to meet with every lesson. We have wonderful lesson horses for virtually every level of rider. Our boarding is known throughout the county as simply top-notch.

SECOND SESSION OF SUMMER CAMP 2008!
Due to the sucess of our first session of Summer Riding Camp, we have set another week during the summer! The dates have just been finalized for the Summer 2008 Riding Camp! It will be a three day camp starting on Monday, July 14th. Please call (410) 879-4031 for more information and to sign up.

BOY SCOUT HORSEMANSHIP BADGES
This summer, HGF will again be offering day-long clinics for Boy Scouts to obtain their horsemanship badges. The clinics will be offered every Monday, please call (410) 879-4031 for dates and availability.

DIRECTIONS
From I-95 North or South: Take Exit 80 (Churchville/Riverside) North to Rt. 543. Go 2 miles and turn north (right) onto Rt. 136. Follow for 14 miles. Farm will be on the left. Follow signs for horse show parking.
From Frederick: Take I-70 East to I-695 North to Exit 27B (Dulaney Valley Rd). Go 17 miles to Madonna, MD. At the flashing red light, turn East (right) onto Rt. 24 (to Jarrettsville) for 4 miles. Then turn North onto Rt. 165 and follow for 11 miles to Whiteford. Then turn South (right) onto Rt. 136. Farm is 2.8 miles on the right. Follow signs for horse show parking.
From York- Take 74 South into MD which runs into Rt. 165. In Whiteford, turn south (left) onto Rt. 136. Farm is 2.8 miles on right. Follow signs for horse show parking.
From Fair Hill - Go south on Route 1, crossing the Conowingo Dam. Follow for 4 miles after Dam, then turn North (right) onto Rt. 136. Farm is 4.5 miles on left. Follow signs for horse show parking.
